O ator tailandês Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri havia anunciado em suas redes a alguns dias atrás que doaria sete telas de sua autoria para um leilão virtual, cuja renda total (sem deduções) seria revertida para instituições de caridade e hospitais que estão cuidando dos casos cada vez mais numerosos de COVID-19 no país.
A organização ficou sob responsabilidade do fã-clube oficial de Earth na Tailândia, e para divulgar a campanha os fãs subiram a hashtag #TheeartheCharity.

O leilão ocorreu entre os dias 23 e 25 de agosto, e arrecadou 674.223,00 baht (cerca de R$107.740,83). De acordo com a organização do evento, o lance mais alto foi para a tela Edinburgh, vendida por 150 mil baht, seguida por Starlight (135 mil) e Daisy (110 mil).
Os organizadores agradeceram a participação de todos, e anunciaram em suas redes que ainda estariam recebendo doações até o dia 26 (quinta), para todos aqueles que “quisessem fazer méritos com Earth”, referindo-se à tradição e crença budista de gerar um bom carma, seja em seu próprio favor ou para seus ancestrais.
O ator, que até alguns dias atrás estava com medo de que não houvesse nenhum engajamento no leilão (apesar do apoio de vários amigos e colegas), agradeceu a todos os que participaram do evento e também convidou os fãs a fazerem doações.
